Online Poker Room PokerShare.com Set to Relaunch in March
In late August, 2005, PokerShare.com debuted with great fanfare, the first online poker site to offer its players shared company revenues in the form of stock holdings and dividends. In just over two months, PokerShare.com apparently grabbed enough attention and registered enough players to give the more well-known online poker rooms a run for their money. UltimateBet.com didn't take the threat lightly and allegedly pressured Excapsa, the hosting poker network for both sites, to pull the plug on the online poker upstart.
