LONDON - Online poker giant PartyGaming has put an end to its litigation with small rival Empire Online after agreeing to acquire certain assets from the group.PartyGaming has agreed to pay $250m in cash to Empire in return for acquiring its EmpirePoker.com skin and other associated white label agreements relating to AceClub.com and StarluckCasino.com.The agreement also sees the withdrawal of all legal claims by Empire.The dispute arose after PartyGaming announced last October that it would sto

888 Holdings, the owner of the world's largest online casino 888.com (Casino on Net), and the fourth largest online poker room Pacific Poker, reported excellent results for the quarter ending 31 December, 2005. Casino revenues were only up one percent, but poker revenues soared to $36 million, an increase of 22 percent.
